The interview is the second round of the application process. Interviews are offered by invitation only; it is not possible for applicants to arrange an interview without the request of the Dual Degree Program admissions committee. All candidates invited for an interview will be notified in early February. If not invited for an interview, candidates will be notified that they will not be moving forward in the admissions process.
Interviews typically take place virtually, between mid-February and early March. Interviews are typically 30 minutes in length and are conducted by a joint interview panel comprised of representatives from both TAU and Columbia.
The interview is an important and mandatory aspect of the application process. Candidates should expect to discuss various aspects of their application file, their personal experiences, academic plans, and topics specific to their chosen academic program.
