Final Transcripts and Test Scores

In order to finalize admission to the Dual Degree Program, students must submit official copies of all final transcripts and test scores to the Columbia School of General Studies Office of Admissions once the academic year is complete. Official high school transcripts should show the date of graduation. Students must also submit any applicable graduation exam results (e.g., Israeli Bagrut, International Baccalaureate (IB), French Baccalauréat, British A-Levels, German Abitur, etc.), as well as all Advanced Placement (AP) Exam scores and college or university transcripts so that we may evaluate these documents for eligible transfer credits.

Deadline: July 15*

*We will not accept transfer credits for materials or test scores received after this deadline

Sending Final Documents

  • High School/Secondary School Transcripts: An administrator from your school must submit official versions of your final high school transcripts directly to Slate.org. If your school does not participate in Slate.org, a school administrator must send your official documents as PDF attachments to [email protected] and include your name. If your documents are not in English, you must first have them translated by an official, certified translator. Once they are translated, an administrator from your school must send the original document along with the translation either through Slate.org or as PDF attachments to [email protected].
  • High School Leaving Exams (e.g. French Baccalaureate, A-Levels, German Abitur, International Baccalaureate, etc.): An administrator from your school must submit official versions of any relevant exams (e.g. A-Levels, French Baccalauréat, German Abitur, etc.) directly to Slate.org. If your school does not participate in Slate.org, a school administrator must send your official documents as PDF attachments to [email protected]. If your documents are not in English, you must first have them translated by an official, certified translator. Once they are translated, an administrator from your school must send official documents and their translations together either through Slate.org or as PDF attachments to [email protected].
  • Transcripts from other colleges or universities: If you have coursework from another college, university, or institution, you must request the Registrar to send your transcripts directly to Columbia GS either as a PDF attachment sent to [email protected], or by mail (address below). If your transcript is not in English, you must provide a certified translation to your institution before they can send it to Columbia GS.
  • Standardized Tests and Exams: Submit these electronically through the testing agency. Use the Columbia University School of General Studies code 2095 for College Board exams (SAT, AP, TOEFL). Use Columbia GS code 2716 for the ACT. For the IELTS, Cambridge English Exams, or Duolingo, please follow instructions on their websites for submitting official scores to universities.

Please note that the admissions committee expects final official documents received by our offices to reflect the same information originally reported on the application, or through any unofficial documentation (e.g., unofficial transcripts uploaded through the application portal, self-reported standardized test scores). Furthermore, admitted students are expected to remain in good academic standing through the completion of any additional coursework to be completed before enrollment.

If Slate.org and/or emailing electronic documents are not possible for your school, please have all official transcripts and test scores (in a sealed envelope directly from the appropriate schools) sent to:
