Advising

From the very beginning of the Program, each student is assigned an advisor at both Tel Aviv University and Columbia University. They will guide students through their academic and student life, providing support as they pursue their goals in two stimulating academic settings.

As a student in years one and two at TAU, students have regular contact with their Columbia academic advisor who will conduct semesterly site visits to connect with students both individually and as a group.

Arriving on the Columbia campus for the second phase of the Dual Degree Program, students will continue working with the same advisor through the Office of the Dean of Students of the School of General Studies (GS). Advisors serve as students' primary link to GS throughout the tenure of the Dual Degree Program, providing guidance on University as well as GS-specific policies and procedures.

Once students have chosen a major at Columbia, they will work with the Director of Undergraduate studies or other departmental assigned advisor within their academicĀ department who counselsĀ them on requirements and course selection.
