Steps to Enroll

Welcome and Congratulations!

Upon admission to the Dual Degree Program between Tel Aviv University and Columbia University, you will be sent an official acceptance packet electronically. This packet contains important, time-sensitive information about housing, student visas, Admitted Students Day events, and the steps necessary to begin enrollment in the Dual Degree Program.

Admitted students must confirm their intent to enroll in the incoming class no later than May 6, 2022. Upon confirmation of your intent to enroll, Tel Aviv University (TAU) will send additional information to help prepare you for your transition into the Dual Degree Program. You may begin completing the required steps to enroll by logging in to your Application Portal

If you have specific questions or concerns about enrollment in the Dual Degree Program, we encourage you to make an appointment to speak with an admissions representative directly.

Your program director at Tel Aviv University will be an important resource in coordinating many aspects of your transition to TAU. Please access and carefully review the letter in your Application Portal from your program director for more information on housing, student visas, and new student orientation.

To secure your place in the Fall 2022 incoming class, you must complete the Acceptance Reply Form and submit the $505 USD non-refundable deposit using a credit or debit card, or in the form of a US check or money order made payable to Columbia University. You must reply by May 6 to secure a place in the program for the fall semester.

To complete the form and submit your tuition deposit online, please log in to your Application Portal.

Student housing is available for all Dual Degree Program students. Because of the high demand for housing in Tel Aviv, the timely submission of a housing application is strongly encouraged. Students interested in obtaining housing must apply for TAU accommodations by May 31.

For more information on student housing at both Tel Aviv University and Columbia, visit the Housing page.

Students who do not hold Israeli citizenship must apply for a visa. Students in need of a visa are advised to begin this process as soon as possible.

For more information, visit the Visa Requirements page.

Soon after you have confirmed your intent to enroll, you and your family will be invited to attend celebratory and informative Admitted Students events alongside your future classmates. These events will detail the academic curriculum, student-life programs, educational financing procedures, and necessary enrollment preparations for Dual Degree Program students with representatives from Columbia University and Tel Aviv University.

Once you have completed the five steps listed above, you will also need to set up your Columbia University UNI and email address, fulfill your immunization requirements, and more. You can visit your Application Portal for further details and instructions that will help you begin preparing for your enrollment in the Dual Degree Program.
